Commonwealth Games schedule: Day two events and start times at Birmingham 2022

The 2022 Commonwealth Games are already well underway in Birmingham after a fantastic opening day on Friday.

Australia lead the way in the medal tables after a successful day, while England managed to claim two golds themselves.

Things are ramping up in England’s second city and here’s what’s in store for day two.

Athletics and Para Athletics: 7am to 2.30pm

Lawn bowls and para lawn bowls: 8.30am to 1.45pm and 3pm to 8.15pm

Badminton: 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm

Hockey: 9am to 12.30pm, 2pm to 5.30pm and 7pm to 10.30pm

Artistic gymnastics: 9am to 12.30pm and 4.30pm and 10pm

Rugby Sevens: 9am to 1.30pm and 5.30pm to 10.30pm

Weightlifting: 9am to 1.45pm and 3.30pm to 5.45pm

Table Tennis and Para Table Tennis: 9.30am to 2.30pm and 4pm to 9pm

Cycling – Track and Para Track: 10am to 1.45pm and 4pm to 7pm

Aquatics – Swimming and Para Swimming: 10.30am to 12.15pm and 7pm to 10.15pm

Cricket T20: 11am to 2.30pm and 6pm to 9.30pm

Squash: 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8.30pm

Boxing: 12pm to 3pm and 6.30pm to 9pm

Netball: 12pm to 3.30pm and 6pm to 9.30pm

Beach Volleyball: 2.30pm to 5.30pm and 7pm to 10pm

3x3 Basketball: 3.30pm to 6pm and 7.30pm to 10pm

3x3 Wheelchair Basketball: 3.30pm to 6pm and 7.30pm to 10pm
