A popular Belfast street has been ranked as one of the most beautiful in the UK. New research has named Commercial Court in the city's Cathedral Quarter the most attractive street in Northern Ireland.
Estate Agent comparison site GetAgent conducted an eye-tracking technology experiment to reveal which of the UK’s most beautiful streets are most aesthetically pleasing to the human eye.
Participants were asked to examine a set of images depicting the most picturesque roads, and AI technology was used to analyse their eye movements in order to rank which streets are truly the most eye-catching.

The highly Instagramable spot outside the Duke of York topped the list in Northern Ireland but also ranked 13th place on the overall UK list with an average fixation time of 2.22 seconds.
Known for its colourful umbrellas, detailed murals and famous red benches, Commerical Court at the heart of the city's nightlife quarter has always been a favourite spot for tourists and locals alike. Bustling and busy whenever the sun comes out, the historic cobbled street is hard not to stop and marvel at when passing through the city.
Scotland came out on top of the UK rankings with Edinburgh’s Circus Lane ranking as the most attractive British street in the study. For the full results, see here.
