Commanders Week 15 snap counts vs. Rams

The Washington Commanders fell to 4-10 after Sunday’s 28-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15. Down 28-7 midway through the fourth quarter, head coach Ron Rivera benched quarterback Sam Howell for veteran Jacoby Brissett.

Brissett helped make things interesting, leading two touchdown drives to make it a one-score game. However, Washington’s time management on its final touchdown drive proved costly.

Which Commanders played every snap? Who surprisingly played the least amount of snaps?

Let’s review the snap counts from Sunday’s loss to the Rams.

Offense

The right side of the offensive line (Sam Cosmi and Andrew Wylie) were the only offensive players to play every snap. Left tackle Charles Leno left with a calf injury, replaced by Cornelius Lucas. Center Tyler Larsen was bothered by a knee injury and replaced by Nick Gates. Saahdiq Charles returned as left guard, rotating with Chris Paul. Charles played 43 of the 60 offensive snaps. Brissett played 16 snaps. At running back, Antonio Gibson participated in 27 snaps.

Defense

Six players on defense played every snap. Kam Curl, Percy Butler, Benjamin St-Juste, Kendall Fuller, Quan Martin and Cody Barton. It was good to see Martin playing every snap. He is one of the more interesting players to watch over the final few weeks.

The one thing that stood out the most was Emmanuel Forbes playing only six snaps. Remember how badly Washington wanted Forbes? And now they’re afraid to play him in meaningless games. That says more about head coach Ron Rivera and his questionable player-acquisition skills than it does about Forbes.
