Commanders Thursday injury report: Two players already ruled out

The Washington Commanders are practicing in Tempe, Ariz., in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals and two players did not make the trip: running back Austin Ekeler and defensive end Clelin Farrell, who have been declared out.

Washington Commanders Week 4 Thursday injury report

Did not participate

WR Jamison Crowder (calf)

RB Austin Ekeler (concussion)

DE Clelin Ferrell (knee)

Crowder was originally listed with a rest day Wednesday, but then a calf injury was added. Tight end Zach Ertz had a rest day Wednesday, and returned to practice without a designation Thursday on the report.

Limited participation

G Sam Cosmi (Achilles)

CB Benjamin St-Juste (chest)

Cosmi, who played all 59 snaps in the Monday night win over the Bengals, was upgraded to limited after not practicing Wednesday.

Full participation

CB Emmanuel Forbes Jr. (thumb)

S Quan Martin (elbow)

DT Jer’Zhan Newton (foot)

Martin played all but two of the team’s 62 defensive snaps Monday night and was upgraded to full participation after being limited Wednesday.

Arizona Cardinals Thursday injury report

  • DL Khyiris Tonga (knee)

Limited participation

  • T Kelvin Beachum (hamstring)
  • WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (quadriceps)
