There hasn't been a ton to celebrate for the Washington Commanders this season.
Sure, the Commanders have been basking in the glow of ridding themselves of former owner Dan Snyder, but apart from the change at the top it's been business as usual.
However, Washington continues to have at least one position covered. Commanders punter Tress Way is averaging 46.1 yards per punt this season, the 10th straight year the Oklahoma product has averaged at least 45 yards per punt.
On Thursday evening, Washington celebrated its beloved punter in style, stumping for his selection for the Pro Bowl with an elaborate highlight reel.

Way has made two Pro Bowls in the past—2019, when he led the league in yards per punt and was named second team All-Pro, and 2022.
The Commanders are 4-10 and 23rd in the league in scoring offense—generally a recipe for landing your punter in the Pro Bowl.
