Comic Relief fans were thrilled to see David Walliams and Matt Lucas reunite for a special Red Nose Day show.
The comic duo - best known for writing and starring in Little Britain together - appeared together in a special Rock Profile sketch, where they dressed up as the likes of Adele, Lady Gaga, Lewis Capaldi and Miley Cyrus.
The pair impersonated some of the world's biggest pop stars for a sketch to raise money for the Comic Relief charity but fans were happy to see the duo in action a fter a 10-year feud, which they ended a couple of years ago.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Omg comic relief, I can't stop laughing."
" David Walliams and Matt Lucas are the best duo going #RedNoseDay #ComicRelief #RedNose," a second added, as a third shared: "Keep these two on all night now ! This is what it’s all about !! #comicrelief."
A fourth wrote: " @RealMattLucas. Loving watching you, @davidwalliams & @vernonkay on @comicrelief. Brilliantly hilarious #ComicRelief2022," as a fifth shared: "Rock profile on comic relief so f***ing good."
Ahead of their stint on the charity show, the pair revealed they were looking forward to returning to Rock Profile, where the 'stars' got together to sing a very special rendition of The Greatest Love Of All, with Vernon Kay interviewing all the 'celebs'.
"It’s been really fun giving the Rock Profile treatment to a host of stars who weren’t even twinkles in our eyes when we first did the show nearly 25 years ago," Matt Lucas shared, whilst David Walliams added in a statement: "It has been a blast working with Matt on Rock Profile again. I can’t wait for everyone to see our brand new characters."
Vernon Kay - who also starred in the sketch - added: "I have been watching David and Matt’s sketches for as long as I can remember, so I am super excited to get to be part of one myself.
"Thankfully I will be playing myself in Rock Profile, so I’ll be saving David or Matt the embarrassment of attempting my accent!"
