Scottish entertainer Dean Park is gearing up for a return to Rutherglen.
The Dean Park Variety Show at the town hall will be full of laughter, music and variety from the comedy legend during a two-hour set on Saturday, February 12 from 7.30pm.
Dean is well known as one of Scotland’s top entertainers and has recently hosted the weekday mid-morning show on Your Radio 103.
He’s also appeared in pantomimes around the country and has recorded a live album and DVD.
The entertainer is excited to be back in front of a crowd, after having to reschedule his tour due to Covid.
Dean told Lanarkshire Live: “I can’t wait to see the smiling faces and return to Rutherglen town hall.
“I’m looking forward to working with some of the great people for the show as well as looking forward to the Rutherglen audience seeing such fabulous entertainers.
“This is my eighth show in Rutherglen and is always one of my favourite audiences, it’s like coming home.
“I’m going to be singing my favourite songs and having a great laugh and telling the people of Rutherglen some of my stories.”
Dean is accompanied by Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Mandy Muden, a comedy magician who featured on the show in 2018.
She captivated judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden with her wicked sense of humour and magic tricks.
Jeremy Levif, who was a semi-finalist in last year’s The Voice UK is also set to appear in the show.
The three acts are supported by musical theatre vocalist Claire Grehan.
Speaking about his future plans, Dean added: “I’m involved with a wonderful variety show called The Big Night Out, touring venues in the summer months in Scotland.”
Tickets for next week's show are available from Rutherglen town hall or via the website.
