It's safe to say comedian Mark Watson was taken aback on his route back to his hotel in Leeds city centre last night.
The stand-up performed at Pocklington Arts Centre but stayed in Leeds, meaning he walked back through the city centre on a Saturday night.
The QI regular and former Mock the Week and Taskmaster star took to Twitter to share his surprise at what he saw.

He wrote: "Leeds remains one of the maddest Saturday night cities.
"You know you won’t get back to the hotel without seeing someone bleeding, someone pissing and someone weeping, as a minimum."
Fans were quick to reply with their own eye-opening experiences from a Leeds night out.
Kerry Robinson shared: "I was also in Leeds city centre this evening. Absolute carnage. Sad thing is, about 10 years ago I was part of that carnage."

Alex Green said: "I always remember walking through Leeds and hearing two girls behind me discussing fighting in the street. One was basically explaining the merits to the other.
"It was an eye-opener for me having lived in rural north Norfolk most of my life."
Niall Machin added: "First time I ever went to Leeds was the first time I ever saw women fighting in a pub - with a watching crowd."
