Comedian Munya Chawawa has done it again by producing a rather hilarious but brutal takedown of social media racists with a parody sketch called ‘Racebook.’
The comedian is known for his quick turnaround on sketches relating to current affairs that sometimes revolve around a cover of a song or mocking racists for their nonsensical view of the world.
This time, Chawawa is taking aim at individuals who sent racist messages to Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Buyako Saka after the three England footballers missed their penalties in the shootout of the Euro 2020 final against Italy.
This has been a persistent problem across social media for some time, but many believe the likes of Facebook and Twitter are not doing enough to stop it happening.
In the sketch, Chawawa mocks the social media companies by introducing a new platform called ‘Racebook’. He says: “Do you wish being racist online was easier than it already is? Then you should try Racebook where all gammon is anon.”

Racebook’s features include featureless profile pics, having to identify ‘REAL English players’ as a security measure and ‘White Supremojis.’
Chawawa also takes a dig at Boris Johnson and Priti Patel during the sketch, as well as comedian Andrew Lawrence, who received huge backlash after he made racist jokes about the players who missed their penalties.
This devastatingly accurate sketch has already been viewed more than 190,000 times and many have heaped praise on the comedian for providing a poignant and also very funny takedown of racists (and also for how remarkably quick he produces his videos).

It comes after a Downing Street spokesman said that the prime minister will “reiterate the urgent need for action” and that websites should help police in trying to identify the individuals posting these messages.
Many of the England footballers, fellow professionals and clubs have condemned the racism and supported the victims. A mural paying tribute to Rashford in Manchester that was defaced with racist graffiti following the match has been decorated with messages of support and love for the 23-year-old striker.

Meanwhile, more than one million people have now signed a petition demanding that all racists are banned from attending football matches.
