Come Dine With Me on hunt for Glasgow contestants as show to film in the city

Come Dine With Me is back and looking for people across Glasgow and the surrounding areas to take part in the new series.

Casting has just begun, with TV producers on the hunt for amazing dinner party hosts across the city. So whether you are a keen cook or just love socialising with new people, this could be the perfect gig for you as 5 hosts compete over 5 nights. And what's more, there is a £1,000 up for grabs at the end of the competition.

The people behind the hit Channel 4 food show are keen to hear from people from all walks of life regardless of age, gender or sexual orientation.

The show has provided hours of entertainment over the years, with Glaswegians now able to get in on the action as it returns to screens for season 21.

Who can forget the unhappy chappy when Jane won the prize, of the guy who thought sticking an entire whisk in his mouth was a good idea...

Come Dine With Me is set to begin across Glasgow on April 10, finishing up on April 14. So applicants must be available throughout the week.

If you reckon you have what it takes to be the top host and bag the prize, why not give it a go?

Applicants must be 18 or over at the time of applying and cannot be working or trained as a professional chef.

You can find the application for the new series online. For any specific questions about Come Dine With Me or your application, please contact cdwm@multistory.tv.

Good luck!
