Colvend Primary pupils show enthusiasm for golf sessions

Colvend Primary pupils have been participating in golf sessions over the last few weeks and have shown great enthusiasm and skill.

They have enjoyed the varied activities which have helped them learn to hold the club and stand correctly, keep their eye on the ball and take some super shots.

The school would like to thank Tony Pallett from Colvend Golf Club for his fantastic coaching and a huge thanks to Colvend Golf club for making their last session at the club such fun.

Tony said: “It was a wonderful to see the children enjoying golf.

“They were a pleasure to work with and I hugely enjoyed my time with them.

“The club is keen to encourage young people into the game and I hope to see some of them back at the club in the future.”
