Colts vs. Titans final injury report: 5 players questionable, one out

On the Indianapolis Colts’ final injury report of the week ahead of their matchup with the Tennessee Titans, the team has five players questionable and one already ruled out.

After not practicing at all this week while dealing with an ankle injury, Taylor has been ruled out of Sunday’s game. This will be the second game he’s missed working through the ankle sprain.

Some good news, is that he does feel much better this week compared to last.

Richardson will be a game-time decision. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that Richardson “expects” to play “barring a late-week surprise.”

Richardson spoke with reporters earlier in the week and discussed what boxes he needs to check in order to be available on Sunday.

Wide receivers Josh Downs and Michael Pittman are both questionable. Neither receiver practiced on Wednesday or Thursday, but both were full participants on Friday–a sign that things are certainly trending in the right direction.

The news that Pittman could play comes as a surprise, given that earlier in the week, Adam Schefter reported that Pittman was expected to miss “multiple weeks.”

Already down Taylor, not having one or potentially both Downs or Pittman would be a huge blow to this offense. The Titans’ pass defense has been one of the more stingy units in football this season.

Braden Smith is also questionable. For what it’s worth, as was the case the previous two weeks, Smith didn’t practice Wednesday or Friday but was a full participant on Thursday. In both previous instances he played on Sunday.

Lastly, Kenny Moore is questionable as well. Again, he’s also trending in the right direction as a full participant on Friday. Without Moore, the Colts have started Chris Lammons in the secondary. As a collective unit, the Colts pass defense has given up a lot of yards these last three games.
