Colts vs. Jaguars final injury report: Anthony Richardson’s status TBD

The Indianapolis Colts released their final injury report ahead of their matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the status of quarterback Anthony Richardson for Sunday’s game is still too be determined.

Richardson did practice for the third consecutive day on Friday after taking a hit to his hip area in Sunday’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers that forced him to exit the game in the first half.

Despite the limited practice reps, Shane Steichen did mention earlier in the week that Richardson could still start as long as he’s cleared to do so and feeling good.

Jonathan Taylor, Kwity Paye, and Kenny Moore were all ruled out of Sunday’s game on Friday. Neither player was able to practice this week.

For Paye and Moore, both players missed the most recent game and have been sidelined for two weeks after each left the Colts’ Week 3 matchup with the Chicago Bears in the fourth quarter.

In addition to not having Paye, the Colts also will not have Tyquan Lewis and DeForest Buckner along the defensive front, both of whom are on IR. At cornerback, the Colts are already without JuJu Brents, who is on IR as well, leaving them quite thin at two position groups.

In addition to Richardson being questionable, so are offensive linemen Braden Smith and Ryan Kelly.

For the second week in a row, Smith did not practice on Wednesday or Friday but was a full participant on Thursday. Perhaps this is the current regimen to help keep his knee fresh. Smith hasn’t missed a game this season.

Kelly, meanwhile, hasn’t practiced in over a week while dealing with a neck injury. He was questionable last weekend and eventually ruled inactive prior to kickoff. In his place was rookie Tanor Bortolini, who impressed in his debut.
