The Indianapolis Colts (8-7) released their unofficial depth chart ahead of the Week 17 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders (7-8).
The term “unofficial” should be taken to heart here as the pecking order could change on a whim. Still, we’re here to take a look at the depth chart going into the crucial matchup against the Raiders.
Here’s a look at the unofficial Week 17 depth chart for the Colts:
Offense
Notes
- Roster Changes: RB Tyler Goodson was promoted to the active roster last week.
- Upon his return from a three-game absence in Week 16, RB Jonathan Taylor played 59% of the snaps and took 85.7% of the running back carries.
- There has been heavy rotation in the tight end room all season, but rookie Will Mallory played a season-high 38% of the snaps last week.
Defense
Notes
- Roster Changes: CB Chris Lammons was promoted from the practice squad last week, and S Henry Black was signed from the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad after Julian Blackmon was placed on IR.
- Since his return in Week 15, CB JuJu Brents has been a boundary starter with fellow rookie Jaylon Jones working closely as the No. 3 CB.
- With Blackmon out for at least the final two games of the season, second-year safety Nick Cross will take over as the starting strong safety.
