The Indianapolis Colts are scheduled to interview New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale for their head coach vacancy Sunday, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The Giants are set to play in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs Saturday against the Philadelphia Eagles so these interviews are scheduled for the day after.

Some of the coaching interviews scheduled for this week and weekend:
— #Giants OC Mike Kafka is set for interviews Sunday with #Colts, #Panthers and #Texans.
— #Giants DC Wink Martindale has #Colts on Sunday.
— #49ers DC DeMeco Ryans has the #Broncos today, #Texans on Friday.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) January 19, 2023
Both Kafka and Martindale have been crucial in the success of the Giants this season. On the offensive side of the ball, Kafka has put together a scheme that resulted in the most efficient season of Daniel Jones’ career, and that unit was on full display in a pristine 31-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings in the wild-card round.
Martindale’s defense has been known for years to be an exotic unit, willing to throw new looks at an offense every week. His blitz-happy style and strong leadership skills have meshed well with the bend-don’t-break Giants defense.
The Colts are still scheduled to interview San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans, Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and Colts interim head coach Jeff Saturday, but those dates have not been scheduled yet.
The head coaching search will be led by general manager Chris Ballard, but the decision ultimately resides with owner Jim Irsay.
