The Indianapolis Colts signed free-agent running back Toriano Clinton and waived defensive tackle Jamal Woods, the team announced Tuesday.
Adding to the running back room was a necessity following the news Monday that Zack Moss suffered a broken arm. He is expected to miss roughly six weeks.
Clinton, an undrafted free-agent rookie out of Indianapolis, appeared in 43 games across five seasons (2018-22). He recorded 593 carries for 4,538 yards and 48 touchdowns. He also added 39 receptions for 322 yards and four touchdowns.
In 2022, Clinton appeared in eight games. He recorded 147 carries for 1,001 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns while adding 14 receptions for 166 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Woods joined the Colts this offseason as an undrafted free-agent rookie out of Illinois.
