The Indianapolis Colts continue to build out their 90-man roster, reportedly signing wide receiver Ajou Ajou to a reserve/futures deal, the team announced.
These reserves/futures deals are given to players who are not on the 53-man roster and prevents those players from negotiating and signing with another team.
Ajou is one of a number of players that the Colts have signed since the regular season ended to a reserve/futures deal.
Ajou played his college ball at Clemson for two seasons and then at South Florida his final year in 2022. At Clemson, the 6-3 – 218 pound Ajou, caught eight passes for 114 yards and a touchdown. He appeared in 22 games, which included 26 special teams snaps.
With South Florida, Ajou appeared in one game and had two receptions for nine yards. He missed most of that 2022 season with a groin injury.
More recently, Ajou played 12 games in the CFL in 2024, catching 20 passes for 307 yards and two scores.
