The Indianapolis Colts (3-3) released their unofficial depth chart Tuesday ahead of the Week 7 matchup against the Cleveland Browns (3-2).
The term “unofficial” should be taken to heart here as the pecking order could change on a whim. Still, we’re here to take a look at the depth chart going into the divisional matchup against the Texans.
Here’s a look at the unofficial Week 7 depth chart for the Colts:
Offense
Notes
- Roster changes: The Colts signed WR Juwann Winfree to the active roster.
- RB Jonathan Taylor is listed as the starter and played nearly half the snaps in Week 6 as he continues to ramp up his workload.
- As WR Alec Pierce (shoulder) deals with an injury rookie Josh Downs, along with Amari Rodgers, would see a bump in workload.
- With Braden Smith (hip/wrist) out in Week 6, it was rookie Blake Freeland who made his third consecutive start, this time sliding over to right tackle.
Defense
Notes
- Roster changes: DT Grover Stewart was placed on the Reserve/Suspended list. He will miss the next six games.
- DE Kwity Paye returned to his starting role after missing one game due to a concussion.
- LB Shaquille Leonard played 81% of the snaps and appears to be working toward a bigger role coming off a groin injury.
- Rookie CB Jaylon Jones is the clear No. 3 cornerback.
Specialists
Notes
- Roster changes: None from the previous week.
