Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson made his return from an injury an exciting one this Sunday in a matchup against the Los Angeles Rams that ended in overtime. Richardson looked every bit the franchise quarterback Indianapolis was hoping they would get with their first-round selection and brought the team back down to the wire against a solid Rams team.
During his epic comeback, Richardson also set himself one of what could be many NFL records. Richardson became the first quarterback in NFL history to rush for four touchdowns in his first three starts, surpassing the likes of even Cam Newton, who had a historic rookie season himself.

Richardson looks effortless in his running style, truly looking like mean amongst boys as he gallops past and through defensive backs on a weekly basis. It’s been a while since we have seen a player of his caliber enter the league, and he could be in for a truly historic season if he keeps up the pace he is on.
With an impressive seven touchdowns in just three starts Richardson is on his way to challenge C.J. Stroud for offensive rookie of the year to go alongside his record-breaking rookie season.
