After yet another disappointing game in Duval County against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Indianapolis Colts falls to 0-1-1 after an embarrassing 24-0 loss in Week 2.
A poor display on both sides of the ball caused Indianapolis to fall behind early and fail to come back. No player really shined in this defeat, but defensive tackle Grover Stewart did all he could to keep the Colts in the game.
He finished the afternoon with five total tackles. While his stats might not have jumped off the page, Stewart was a force in the trenches all day providing pressure and penetration when nobody else could. His greatest contribution came in the run game, stuffing holes and really forcing Jacksonville to push plays to the outside.
The Colts could be in for a long year if they do not figure things out soon. With the Kansas City Chiefs coming to town next week, Frank Reich and Co. will have lean on guys like Grover Stewart to provide a spark for this young team that seems lost.
