Colts news: What else happened in the AFC South in Week 6?

The Indianapolis Colts narrowly came away with the win in Tennessee to improve to 3-3 on the season. But what else happened around the AFC South in Week 6?

The Jacksonville Jaguars suffered a 35-16 loss to the Chicago Bears in London. The Jaguars had a 3-0 lead after the first quarter, but the Bears would take over from that point on.

At halftime, Chicago led 14-3. After the third quarter, it was 21-10, and then the Bears outscored Jacksonville 14-6 in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Caleb Williams would throw for four touchdowns on the Jacksonville defense.

Trevor Lawrence finished the game 23-of-35 passing for 234 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. The Jaguars struggled to get the run game going, averaging fewer than 4.0 yards per rush. Tight end Evan Engram led the way in the passing game with 102 receiving yards.

The Houston Texans, meanwhile, came away with a convincing 41-21 win over the New England Patriots. Facing Drake Maye in his first start, the Texans defense got after the rookie, recording four sacks, eight quarterback hits, and coming away with two interceptions–and four takeaways in total.

It was a big day on the ground for the Texans. Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce combined for 178 rushing yards on only 21 carries and each had a touchdown. CJ Stroud was 20-for-31 passing for 192 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.

Through six weeks the Texans lead the division at 5-1. The Colts are next at 3-3, followed by the 1-4 Titans and the 1-5 Jaguars.

Next up for the Colts is a home game against Miami. The Texans will travel to Green Bay, the Titans will be on the road to face the Bills, and the Jaguars take on the Patriots at home.
