The Indianapolis Colts are all banged up along the defensive line. However, according to ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler, they could get two starters back before they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football.
According to Fowler, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and defensive end Yannick Ngakoue are both hoping to be able to play despite being listed as questionable. A third defensive line starter, DE Kwity Paye has been downgraded to out.
On the other side of the ball, the Steelers will be without key backup running back Jaylen Warren and starting cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon. Levi Wallace will start in place of Witherspoon and Anthony McFarland Jr. will fill in for Warren as Najee Harris’ backup.
#Colts are hopeful about DeForest Buckner (ribs/illness) and Yannick Ngakoue (back) playing Monday night vs. #Steelers, per source. Both listed as questionable but there's some optimism there.
