The Indianapolis Colts will get an up-close look at several of the tight ends who have been invited to this year’s Senior Bowl and are 2025 NFL draft prospects.
Chris Watt, who was the Colts’ assistant offensive line coach the last two seasons, will be coaching the tight ends on the National Team in the Senior Bowl.
This will provide Watt with a live look at some of the top tight ends in this year’s draft class and the opportunity to work alongside of and get to know them as well.
Below are the tight ends on the National Team who Watt will be coaching:
Elijah Arroyo, Miami
Gavin Bartholomew, Pitt
Harold Fannin Jr., Bowling Green
Terrance Ferguson, Oregon
Moliki Matavao, UCLA
Tight end is one of the biggest needs the Colts have this offseason. A much greater presence in the passing game is needed, as GM Chris Ballard described in his season-ending press conference, and more depth is a must as well, with Mo Alie-Cox and Kylen Granson both hitting free agency.
Between free agency and the draft, this should be a position that we see the Colts make multiple additions at.
Some recent draft picks by the Colts who played in the Senior Bowl include Laiatu Latu, Tanor Bortolini, JuJu Brents, Blake Freeland, Alec Pierce, Bernhard Raimann, and a number of others.
From 2023-2017, there were 26 Senior Bowl participants who were draft by Indianapolis.
