Indianapolis Colts free-agent wide receiver Parris Campbell agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the New York Giants, per multiple reports Thursday.
Campbell was one of the biggest names on the market from the Colts’ 2022 roster, and even if they re-signed the speedy wideout, the position was going to be a need anyway. Now, it becomes even more of a need this offseason.
The 25-year-old reportedly agreed to an incentive-laden one-year deal with the Giants.
The news was first reported by Jordan Schultz of The Score.

A second-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft, Campbell’s career has been defined by a myriad of injuries. He’s appeared in just 32 games across four seasons, 17 of which came in 2022.
But he flashed a lot of promise and reliability during his most recent campaign, posting career-high numbers in receptions (63), receiving yards (623) and touchdowns (three). He did that despite the constant carousel at the quarterback position.
Campbell will join former Colts linebacker Bobby Okereke, who signed a four-year deal with the Giants earlier this week. Former Colts guard Mark Glowinski also is on the team after signing with New York last offseason.
The Colts did re-sign Ashton Dulin to a two-year deal, but they need to add more depth at the WR3 spot in order for the room to be competitive enough in 2023.
