Indianapolis Colts free-agent defensive tackle Byron Cowart signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to his agency Friday.
Cowart spent the 2022 season with the Colts as a rotational piece along the interior defensive line after they claimed him off waivers before the start of the regular season.

Cowart appeared in all 17 games for the Colts, holding mostly a rotational role every week. He recorded 12 tackles (four solo) and two tackles for loss on 20% of the defensive snaps behind starter Grover Stewart.
