The Indianapolis Colts are expected to promote director of college scouting Morocco Brown to a higher role in the front office, per Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network.
Brown, who has received plenty of interest from other teams this offseason, will reportedly hold a new role with the title of “chief personnel executive,” according to Josina Anderson.

Brown has had the interest of a few teams this offseason. He was in the running for the general manager vacancy with the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers. Then, the Philadelphia Eagles interviewed him for a high-ranking executive role following the 2022 NFL draft.
Brown has been a critical figure within the Colts’ front office since joining the team in 2017. He has been one of the top scouts for general manager Chris Ballard and has been one of the reasons they’ve had success in drafting over the last few seasons.
Brown will eventually get his shot to be a general manager, but at least the Colts can get one more season of his talents within the front office. And this time, it will be in a higher role.
