The Indianapolis Colts are benching quarterback Matt Ryan. Again.
With three games remaining in the regular season and not much to play for, the Colts will bench Ryan following a historic collapse against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15.
With Ryan now benched, the Colts are going to roll with veteran Nick Foles.

The expectation is that Foles will start the remaining three games of the regular season but as we’ve seen throughout this disaster of a season, anything can change at any moment.
The Ryan experiment went horribly wrong. He was benched earlier in the season in favor of Sam Ehlinger just before the firing of former head coach Frank Reich.
When interim head coach Jeff Saturday took over, Ryan resumed his starting role for the last five games.
In 12 games (all starts), Ryan has completed 67% of his passes for 3,057 yards, 14 touchdowns and a league-leading 13 interceptions. He’s also fumbled the ball a career-high 15 times, five of which he’s lost.
We mostly know what Foles can do as a quarterback and with the Colts all but officially eliminated, we’re going to see what kind of impact he has on the offense.
