Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds getting second interview with Titans

The Tennessee Titans are reportedly bringing back Indianapolis Colts assistant general manager Ed Dodds for a second interview for their open general manager role.

Last week it was reported that Dodds was one of a number of candidates who the Titans were bringing in for a first round of interviews after they moved on from Ran Carthon.

Now, according to NFL Network, Dodds, along with Chiefs assistant GM Mike Borgonzi, Buccaneers assistant GM John Spytek, Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham, and Bills executive Terrance Gray are all coming back for Round 2 of interviews.

This isn’t the first time that Dodds has been considered for the general manager role by another team. Just last offseason, he was a finalist for the Carolina Panthers opening and he also interview with the LA Chargers and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Recently, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer listed Dodds as one of his potential future general manager candidates. Breer called Dodds one of the NFL’s “most respected evaluators,” noting the key role he played building Seattle’s Legion of Boom defense.
