While the Indianapolis Colts sent a high-level executive to scout Anthony Richardson, they also had area scout Mike Lacy in attendance at Tennessee’s pro day.
While quarterback prospect Hendon Hooker didn’t participate in the drills due to his recovery from ACL reconstruction surgery, the Colts were still on hand to scout the SEC school.

The big name here is going to be Hooker, whose numbers pop off the page over the last two seasons. However, there’s a good chance he falls out of the first round due to his advanced age and recent injury.
Even so, the Colts are keeping a keen eye on the quarterback class, which includes workouts and visits with prospects of various projected draft capital.
Outside of Hooker, there are a few other names to keep an eye on as the draft approaches at the end o April.
Wide receiver Jalin Hyatt enjoyed a true breakout campaign in 2022 as a junior. A vertical slot option, Hyatt is considered a borderline first-round pick considering his ability to make plays on the deep ball.
Fellow wide receiver Cedric Tillman fits the mold of what the Colts like in their wide receivers from a size and athleticism standpoint, but injuries likely push his stock down to a Day 2 projection.
Offensive tackle Darnell Wright is another name to keep an eye on as he could sneak into the first round as well. The Colts have already had reported interest in him earlier this offseason.
Meanwhile, defensive lineman Byron Young and linebacker Jeremy Banks are two potential Day 3 prospects the Colts could target due to their athleticism and upside.
