The offseason has now officially arrived for the entire AFC South. So let’s preview what’s ahead for the Indianapolis Colts’ divisional opponents. Up next are the Tennessee Titans.

Changes at general manager

After two seasons, the Titans moved on from general manager Ran Carthon following the conclusion of the 2024 season. The Titans added a number of veterans to the team in free agency last offseason but mustered only three wins.

Taking over as the new GM will be Mike Borgonzi, the former assistant general manager with the Kansas City Chiefs. Borgonzi has held that role since 2021, playing an integral part in the Chiefs’ personnel moves during that span. Borgonzi has been in the Chiefs’ organization since 2009, holding various scouting and personnel related roles.

Head coach Brian Callahan will remain in that role after one season with the team.

2025 NFL draft

The Titans hold the first overall selection in the upcoming NFL and draft and will likely be on the look out for their next quarterback. Beyond that selection, the Titans have seven selection. This includes no third-round picks, but two in each of the fourth and fifth rounds of the draft.

According to NFL.com, in addition to quarterback, other positions of need for the Titans include receiver, edge rusher, offensive tackle, and safety.

Salary cap situation

The Titans will enter the offseason with $44.19 million in available salary cap space, according to Over the Cap. Relative to the rest of the NFL in terms of spending power, this ranks as the 12th most. Like every other team, veteran cuts or contract restructures can help the Titans create additional cap space if needed.
