Less than a week of mock drafts remain until the Indianapolis Colts will make their selections in the 2023 NFL draft.
The fatigue with mock drafts is real, and at this point, we just want to event to arrive. But we’re still going to break down the mock drafts that come out so we can get a better feel for these prospects and potential scenarios.
Here’s a look at Chad Reuter’s seven-round mock draft from the Colts’ perspective with our analysis at the end:

The Pick: WR A.T. Perry, Wake Forest

The Pick: S Ronnie Hickman Jr., Ohio State

The Pick: OT Jordan McFadden, Clemson
Round 5 | No. 176 overall (from DAL)
The Pick: DL Colby Wooden, Auburn
Round 7 | No. 221 overall
The Pick: DT Calvin Avery, Illinois
Round 7 | No. 236 overall (from TB)
Analysis
This would be a pretty good haul for the Colts. Getting C.J. Stroud is a dream scenario at No. 4 and then adding Kelee Ringo and Dawand Jones on Day 2 would be fantastic additions.
The Day 3 picks offer plenty of upside at positions of need, especially in the trenches with Jordan McFadden and Colby Wooden. The seventh-round pick of Calvin Avery would be interesting to as he would compete for the one-technique role behind Grover Stewart.
The addition of A.T. Perry certainly brings upside to the wide receiver room as he has the size, length and tracking ability to have some value early on.
