The Senior Bowl has been an important part of the pre-draft process for the Indianapolis Colts under GM Chris Ballard, so let’s take a look at some of the highlights from Thursday’s practice.
This was the third and final practice of the week for the participants. Next up, the All-Star game between the American and National teams will be played on Saturday.
Since Ballard took over as the Colts’ GM in 2017, there have been 29 players that he’s drafted who have participated in the Senior Bowl. A few of those names include Laiatu Latu, Bernhard Raimann, Alec Pierce, and Michael Pittman.

Miami TE Elijah Arroyo is one the 2025 #SeniorBowl’s biggest risers
The exclamation mark to his final practice session was a leaping TD catch in the back of the end zone
Arroyo celebrated by punting the ball into orbit, perhaps symbolizing his stock 🚀

Aireontae Ersery STONEWALLED several of the top edge rushers at the Senior Bowl 👀
His hand placement and power was evident in reps against Mike Green, Landon Jackson, David Walker, and others. Also a good mover at 6’5, 339lbs.

I really like Sacramento State iOL Jackson Slater.
Scouts wanted to see the FCS talent step up vs. the competition at @seniorbowl.
How about this rep vs Ole Miss’ Walter Nolen? 👀
Slater played G in college, but scouts nearly unanimously agree he’ll be best-used at C. pic.twitter.com/VP9D0xPujQ

Really good third @seniorbowl practice for @WKUFootball CB Upton Stout
Great footwork and short area quickness to stay in phase out of press here. Had a nice run fill in team drills as well. Good player pic.twitter.com/UGwUBEVts1

Syracuse defender Justin Barron is a former WR and DB turned Linebacker for the Senior Bowl, and here he is showing off his natural coverage feel against Woody Marks. I like what I’m seeing pic.twitter.com/OtRfIOsPk5

Femi Oladejo continues to be among the most intriguing talents at the @seniorbowl.
A former off-ball LB, a midseason move to EDGE was in his best interest. Long, speedy rusher who’s still scratching the surface of his pass-rushing potential.pic.twitter.com/g5k1mKGEVo
