If you are the son of NFL legend and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, you aren’t going to be short on confidence. This is the case for Colorado starting quarterback Shedeur Sanders. His confidence often borders on arrogance and I have to say with his latest comments, he might have crossed that border.
Sanders did an interview with Complex and was asked who he compares himself to now that he’s had some film under his belt to compare to. Sanders answer was wild.
Well, I’ll say it’s a mixture because I’m able to stay in the pocket and deliver the ball. I can play like Brady, but I’m also able to extend plays and if it’s not there, take it like Vick. So it just depends, it’s funny whenever situations in the game occur, they’re like ‘hey, you gotta be Vick tonight. You gotta be Mike Vick tonight.’ So then that’s when we bring our legs involved.
Pretty bold of him to compare himself to the greatest quarterback of all time and perhaps the most athletic quarterback of all time.
