The newest AP poll was released Sunday afternoon and with it came a new top four in the college football landscape. Additionally, it appears the Deion Sanders project in Colorado is impressing a lot of voters.
The Buffaloes climbed to No. 18 on the poll after going into the week at the No. 22 spot. Colorado dominated unranked Nebraska 36–14 to earn the promotion.
Meanwhile, both Florida State and Texas cracked the top four after big wins over LSU and Alabama, respectively. The Tigers fell to No. 14 and the Tide barely remain in the top 10.
The Pac-12 continues to impress with an impressive eight squads in the top 25. USC also moved one spot up and is now No. 5 after blowing out Stanford 56–10. Here’s how the entire poll shook out after Week 2 of the 2023 college football season:
