Willie Collum has hailed the decision to overturn Hamza Igamane's red card for Rangers against St Mirren a fortnight ago as a 'perfect' use of VAR.
The striker was initially ordered off in the first half for a challenge on opposition captain Mark O'Hara.
Referee Kevin Clancy immediately produced a red card after the sliding tackle, although following involvement from VAR official Grant Irvine and AVAR Gary Hilland, it was overturned, and Igamane was given a yellow.

"We don't want referees to be supported because there's some elements there; there is an element of speed, there's not the contact we would expect there. We don't think this is clearly endangering the safety of an opponent.
"This is perfect use of VAR, good comms on the field, good comms from the VAR and AVAR, and also good images shown at the screen for the referee as well."
Although Igamane stayed on the pitch, Rangers went on to lose the game by two goals to nil.
It turned out to be Philippe Clement's last match at the helm, with the Belgian dismissed the following day.
Barry Ferguson is now at the helm and has the Ibrox club within touching distance of the Europa League quarter-finals after an impressive 3-1 victory over Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce in a last-16 first-leg tie on Thursday.
