An Iowa college student has been arrested after allegedly encouraging others to take sexually suggestive photos of two women without their consent, according to a report.

In October 2024, Jack Erselius, 18, a student at Iowa State University, reportedly sent photos of two women, students at the University of Iowa, to a group on Kik, a messaging app. He suggested others in the group take similar "creepshots," or sexually suggestive images, of the victims, WHO 13 News reported.

Erselius further revealed to tracking the victims' locations through Snapchat, a social media platform that allows users to opt-in to sharing their live locations.

Law enforcement was contacted and tracked the Kik account's username, "goonboy3433," to Erselius.

Erselius was charged with two counts of solicitation to commit a felony, WHO 13 News reported, released on a $20,000 bail. If convicted, he faces a maximum of five years in prison and a fine amounting to no more than $10,245, according to reporting by the Daily Iowan.

Additionally, both victims, Erselius's former high school classmates, were granted a no contact order against the suspect.
