Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord announced an NIL partnership with Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet on Tuesday, showing off a new car he was gifted as part of the endorsement deal.
The Buckeyes senior took to Instagram to display a black Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 53, captioning the image “Appreciate the team @markwahlbergchevrolet for the ride!” alongside a pair of fire emojis.
McCord isn’t the first Ohio State football star to strike an NIL deal with the dealership. Standout wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. also partnered with Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet back in April.

As part of his sponsorship agreement, McCord will make an appearance and create a couple of social media posts, per On3.
McCord is competing with Devin Brown to win over the newly vacated starting quarterback position in Columbus this season. After serving as CJ Stroud’s backup for the past two seasons, McCord will look to win the nod from head coach Ryan Day to take over the starting role.
He’s appeared in 12 games across two seasons during his tenure with the Buckeyes. Last year, McCord made seven appearances, completing 16-of-20 pass attempts for one touchdown and no interceptions.
