It may not be the typical day for college football, but the College GameDay crew made it out to Los Angeles and SoFi Stadium for Monday night’s National Championship between No. 1 Georgia and No. 4 TCU. This meant the usual fanfare of discussion, picks and, of course, Lee Corso donning the head gear of the team he thinks will win.
The top-ranked Bulldogs are nearly two touchdown favorites over the Horned Frogs, primarily because the Big 12 representative is on a run for the ages that would probably make some Hollywood writers balk at whether or not it was realistic.
So when it seemed Corso was going to choose the reigning champion Bulldogs to win the title for a second straight season, no one batted an eye. But…not so fast my friends!
