We are doing okay with a nice record of 15-10 after finishing last week at 3-3. The Iowa Hawkeyes were once again terrible on offense and the Texas A&M Aggies underachieved out of the gate once more. But thank goodness the Penn State Nittany Lions were out for blood and the USC Trojans can’t be stopped. Friday night features two games that I am lukewarm on, but let’s see what we can do!
Florida State -2.5 Louisville
The Florida State Seminoles are looking to be 3-0 for the first time since 2015 and should be well prepared after a bye week. Florida State’s last win was thanks to a blocked extra point against LSU, which allowed them to earn the win, 24-23. I think that victory over a marquee opponent shows that Mike Norvell has this program running and I’m laying the points with Florida State.
Air Force -16.5 Wyoming
The Air Force Falcons have been spectacular through their 2-0 start as they lead the FBS in averaging 508.5 rushing yards per game. To put into perspective how productive they have been on the ground, the Minnesota Golden Gophers are second in the FBS with more than 200 yards less per game at 302. This rushing attack will be too much for the Wyoming Cowboys to handle and I’m laying the points with Air Force.
