We are currently killing the game with a nice record of 13-8 after finishing last night at 1-1. UCF let us down, but Boise State helped us bounce back to end the night. This Saturday slate of football is absolutely beautiful and features four games that I love. Last week betting on the favorites was a wise move and I am carrying that over today.
Ohio at Penn State (-27.5)
Despite his struggles, Sean Clifford knows when to turn it on and Penn State had a wonderful primetime win against Purdue last week. Ohio also has a win under their belt, but this is still an inexperienced offense that won’t be able to handle Penn State.
Appalachian State at Texas A&M (-18.5)
There is no way that Appalachian State is going to be ready to play at 100% after the roller coaster that was their game last week. After losing to North Carolina in overtime, 63-61, there is just no way that Texas A&M can’t take advantage of the emotional exhaustion that Appalachian State is dealing with.
Iowa State at Iowa (-3.5)
Iowa State has not played at Iowa since 2018 and hasn’t covered the spread since 2014. I know the Hawkeyes looked pitiful last week against South Dakota State as they only won, 7-3, but this is a true buy-low situation on Iowa and I’m buying it all.
USC -9.5 Stanford
This game looks like a powerhouse PAC-12 conference game on paper, but I just don’t see it. USC is a playoff-caliber team and they know it and showed it last week during their 66-14 rampage of Rice last week. The USC defense isn’t perfect, but they looked much more improved than their 2021 version.
