2025 College Football Playoff Ticket Prices
There are a couple of different categories to look at when analyzing the ticket prices. The values of the games that involve the 12 teams in the College Football Playoff (CFP) are of course higher than the rest. They not only involve the best teams in the nation from this season, but some will be played on their home campuses.
This is reflected in the Round 1 game set to be played between Notre Dame and Indiana. The game will take place in South Bend, giving the Fighting Irish home field advantage, and the get-in price is currently set at $711. It is by far the most expensive game (outside of the championship), with a price tag that is 243% higher than any other first round contest.
The National Championship, which will be played in Atlanta, boasts the highest get-in price of all. The game will be played on January 20th, and has an early price tag of $1,132 for the cheapest seat. That figure is 37% higher than the cost for last year’s game between Michigan and Washington.

Most Expensive Non-CFP Bowl Games
The most expensive of the non-CFP games are those that feature high-profile programs. Tickets are typically pricey for any sporting event inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and that will hold true for the bowl game played there. USC will take on Texas A&M on December 27th, which features the highest get-in price at $106.
Alabama was one of the teams that finished on the outside looking in at the 12-team playoff. But they’ll play in the second-most expensive non-CFP game when they meet Michigan in Tampa on New Year’s Eve. The get-in price for a single ticket to that game is $96.
One of the best values is the Valero Alamo Bowl. Coach Sanders and Colorado will take on BYU in a battle of ranked teams, and the price tag of $74 is rather affordable for a marquee matchup.

Cheapest College Football Bowl Games
Many of the venues that are hosting bowl games are only selling tickets for the lower levels of the stadiums. Historically, some of the late-December contests have drawn sparse crowds, and tickets are often affordable and even cheap.
There are two games on the slate that have get-in prices of $10. One of them will be played in the spacious confines of Ford Field in Detroit, with plenty of space available for fans who want to watch Toledo take on Pitt. The other will be played in Birmingham, Alabama, and will feature Bowling Green State against Arkansas State.
The lowest get-in price to see a ranked team play is $17. That is the cost to see #22 Army take on Marshall.
