The Oregon Ducks move one step closer to the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff. Oregon will play their final regular season game against the Washington Huskies on Nov. 30 before the Big 10 Championship on Dec. 7. If Oregon wins out, they will be the top seed.
No. 2 Ohio State and No. 5 Indiana will square off in Columbus on Saturday in a game with massive playoff implications. Indiana has an inferior resume despite being undefeated. If the Hoosiers pull off the upset, they will likely secure a playoff spot. If Indiana loses, the Hoosiers move to the bubble, and at that point, it’s up to the committee.
Tennessee is the first team out of the playoff. The Volunteers must win their final two games to move to 10-2. Then, all Tennessee can do is hope a team ranked above them loses and drops out of the top 12.
