When the 2025 College Football Playoff title game kicks off on Monday, it will feature the Big Ten’s Ohio State Buckeyes and the independent Notre Dame Fighting Irish. However, the Big Ten won’t be the only conference represented on the field at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The SEC will also get some shine as the conference provides the referee crew for the national championship game.
The crew, headlined by referee Steve Marlowe, officiated the SEC Championship Game between Georgia and Texas and also worked the Collge Football Playoff quarterfinal Fiesta Bowl between Boise State and Penn State.
SEC officials will work Monday's @CFBPlayoff national title game b/w Ohio State & Notre Dame. It's the same crew that worked the Fiesta Bowl b/w Penn State & Boise State #CFBPlayoff
