Colorado couldn’t have gotten off to a better start, as the Buffaloes are now 2-0 on the season after a 36-14 victory over Nebraska on Saturday.
However, although Colorado has to play one more game before getting into its Pac-12 schedule, fans are excited about how the Buffaloes will begin conference play.
After Colorado plays host to Colorado State next week, the Buffaloes play at No. 13 Oregon in Week 4. Then Colorado will face visiting No. 6 USC in Week 5.
Not only will Colorado play the two of the best teams in the Pac-12, but Shedeur Sanders also will face off against Bo Nix and Caleb Williams, both of whom are Heisman Trophy candidates.
oh man we get Colorado at Oregon and Colorado vs. USC in back to back weeks pic.twitter.com/CJ265EArZ9

Colorado is at Oregon and then has a home game against USC back-to-back weekends on the 23rd and 30th of September. Those 2 games are going to be fun.

Colorado most likely being 3-0 before they play Oregon and USC back to back at the towards the end of the month is great for the sport. I’m excited to see how Colorado competes with those teams ESPECIALLY that USC game at the end of the month.

Thought last week there’s a good chance Colorado gets to 3-0. I’m sure that’ll happen barring any crazy injuries next week.

After that? Oregon and USC coming. Then we see what’s up. But kudos for Colorado. They’ve earned this joy.
For Colorado to be a top-10 team this year, the Buffaloes will have to prove their mettle against the Pac-12’s best. However, some fans and analysts believe that, while Colorado’s hot start is impressive, it will not last when they get into the teeth of the conference schedule.
I am not trying to be a hater and Colorado is clearly a billion miles better than I thought. Good bowl chance now. And I will watch these games!

But I don't think we're there yet to have reason to think they can be that serious against the top of the P12 https://t.co/MQLfyftYhp

Oregon and USC going to kill Colorado
Not taking nothing from Colorado, but Nebraska showed a solid defense can cripple them. I think they lose against Oregon and USC cause they both solid and smart teams on offense and defense.

Colorado’s Pac-12 schedule eases up after those first two weeks, but the Buffaloes also must play No. 16 Oregon State and No. 12 Utah later in the year. It’s notable that No. 9 Washington and quarterback Michael Penix Jr., another Heisman candidate, aren’t on Colorado’s schedule this year.
