In an exciting 7-10 matchup in the early window of Thursday’s men’s NCAA tournament action, No. 7 Missouri pulled away from No. 10 Utah State late in a hard-fought game in Sacramento, Calif.
The Tigers were paced offensively by senior guard D’Moi Hodge, who finished with a game-high 23 points. Kobe Brown added 19 points and a game-high eight rebounds for Mizzou, which shot 50.9% from the floor in the contest.
As time waned with the game in hand for Missouri, TNT cameras panned to the Utah State cheerleading section, where one of the cheerleaders was tearing up as the season came to an end.
TNT showed the cheerleader, then showed Missouri shooting free throws, and then panned back to the cheerleader crying, which was met with plenty of reaction on social media.
