A COLLECTION of shops in a Scottish town centre have been put up for sale.
Agent CCL Property said the “eclectic collection of shops” has been a cornerstone of the Lochgilphead community for 35 years.
The Square Peg on Colchester Square in the town is said to be “both a local hub and a destination for visitors to the picturesque town in Argyll and Bute”.
It’s described as having a “diverse retail offering comprising a popular sandwich bar, two gift shops showcasing Scottish crafts and premium products and a Saturday discount outlet”.
David Pickering, director at CCL Property, said: “The Square Peg represents an opportunity to acquire a thriving, multi-faceted retail business in one of Scotland’s most beautiful locations.
“With its strong community presence and recent renovations, this property offers excellent potential for further growth and development.”
Pickering added that the “area’s natural beauty and historical significance make it a popular destination for tourists and an attractive place to live”.
The Square Peg is for sale at offers of more than £574,995.
