Colin Farrell is set to bring his teenage son to the Oscars – and the pair will wear matching suits to the awards show.
The Dubliner – who is up for Best Actor at the Academy Awards for his role in The Banshees of Inisherin – said he was “giddy” ahead of Sunday.
He said: “I enter that space as a fan. Yes, I entered it as a nominee, and I’m giddy as a nominee, but I’m giddy as a nominee because I’m a fan, and because I’ve watched [other] nominees’ work since I was a child."
Colin told IndieWire that he and his 13-year-old son Henry will walk the red carpet together in matching velvet tuxedos.

"My youngest fellow will be my plus one. So the two of us are wearing the same tuxedos and we’re looking forward to it."
Henry is Farrell's second son, who he shares with Alicja Bachleda-Curuś, his co-star in the 2009 film Ondine.
In a Vanity Fair interview, Farrell gave a little more insight into the father and son matching tuxedos, saying they'll be velvet. We're sure they'll be the talk of the red carpet.
He admitted he still pinches himself when he realises what his does for a living.
"At times I still pinch myself that I get to do what I do for a living. And I know it’s not curing cancer and I know it’s not splitting the atom, but films have played a really important part of my life as a boy, as a young man. They do today as a man. They play an important part of my life as a father.
“Myself, my two kids, films are a real cornerstone of our relationships,” he added.
