Colin Farrell has reportedly split from girlfriend of five years, Kelly MacNamara.
The actor is said to have called it quits because of his hectic work schedules, including his recent filming for hit film The Banshees of Inisherin took its toll on the relationship.
“Colin is the man of the moment in film thanks to his role in The Banshees Of Inisherin,” said a source.
“He spent months working on that along with the last Batman blockbuster, where he played Penguin.”
Speaking to The Sun, they continued: “Colin’s schedule took its toll on his relationship with Kelly and they quietly called it quits.”
Farrell, 46, has previously spoken about how their busy careers adversely affected their relationship.
MacNamara works as a PA for U2 guitarist The Edge.
“My girlfriend, she travels a lot as well with work so oftentimes we’re two ships passing in the night,” said Farrell.
“But we make sure to find a port that we can, you know, rendezvous at.”
Earlier this month, the Irish star, who has been romantically linked to Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan in the past, hit the red carpet with his 13-year-old son Henry Tadeusz Farrell at the Oscars.
The star shares Henry with Mexican-born Polish actress Alicja Bachleda-CuruÅ, whom he met on the Ondine set before they split in 2010.
