Coleraine FC announce fourth signing of summer transfer window

Coleraine have confirmed their fourth signing of the summer transfer window. Winger Dean Brown has agreed a two-year deal after impressing during the Bannsiders' pre-season campaign.

The 24-year-old joins from Limavady United where he scored over 20 goals last season.

And Coleraine boss Oran Kearney believes the prolific wide-man is ready to "grab his opportunity" in the Premiership.

Kearney told Coleraine's website: “We have played Limavady quite a few times and he has always been a player who has caught my eye.

“He scored over 20 goals for Limavady last season and his rate of progress has been very good. Dean has worked extremely hard since joining us in pre-season and is hungry to do well.

“He is a quick learner and it’s up to him now to grab this opportunity.”

Brown - who played under-age football for Foyle Harps and was also previously on the books at Derry City and Tobermore United - joins other summer recruits Dean Jarvis, Lee Lynch and Jack O'Mahony at the Showgrounds.
