Coleen Rooney has reportedly tasked her brother with looking after hubby Wayne Rooney as the former footballer returns to the US for a new managerial role.
She's said to be anxious for her man to avoid any repeats of the mistakes he made last time he was in the States playing for DC United.
The former Manchester United and Everton player, 36, arrived in the US on Monday ready to sign on as manager of his old MLS club even though Coleen has previously told how his time there caused a strain on their relationship.
She admitted she was homesick while living over the pond when they moved in 2018 and she said she would often cry herself to sleep.
This time around, it's expected that Coleen, 36, will stay in Blighty with their four kids - Kai, 12, Klay, nine, Kit, six, and Cass, four.
And it's been suggested her brother Anthony McLoughlin will be tasked with keeping tabs on his brother-in-law - a role he's previously done.
It's thought he'll be joined by a security staff member too.
A source told The Sun : "Wayne has assured Coleen he won’t let her down. Things are different to when he was a player and he needs to lead by example on and off the field so he won’t be slipping back into bad habits. But Coleen is still worried."
They continued: "Although she trusts Wayne she knows he can be easily led which is why she’d like her brother or one of Wayne’s brothers to be out there too to keep an eye on him. It would make Coleen feel a lot happier.
"It’s something they did before. It helped to keep her up to date with what was going on, and Coleen wants to keep a close eye on him."
They added how excited Wayne was at the new role, stating he loved his time in the country last time around as he built a great bond with the club's fans.
It's thought if he makes the move a success it will help pave the way for him to land a managerial role in the Premier League.
The source added: "It remains his ambition to one day manage Manchester United. That’s the dream but he knows he will have to work really hard to achieve it."
While Coleen's said to be anxious, it's thought she's provided her full blessing to her husband's latest move.
Mirror Online has contacted Coleen's representatives for comment.
